The 13th international conference on Scalable Uncertainty Management (SUM 2019) will take place on December 16-18, 2019, in Compiègne, France.

The senior Springer best paper award was given to Nic Wilson, Didier Dubois and Henri Prade for their article “CP-nets, pi-prefnets, and Pareto dominance“.

The junior Springer best paper award was given to Hugo Martin and Patrice Perny for their paper “Computational Models for Cumulative Prospect Theory : Application to the Knapsack Problem Under Risk“.

Important dates

A number of people have asked us to have a couple extra days to finalize their paper. We are happy to provide an additional extension: the final (mandatory !) deadline will be July 15th. Would you like to submit a paper, we kindly ask that you submit an abstract ASAP via EasyChair, so that we can begin dispatching the papers.

  • June 15th, 2019 June 30th, 2019 July 15th, 2019: submission deadline (final !)
  • Sept. 1st, 2019 Sept. 22nd, 2019: notification of acceptance
  • Sept. 15th, 2019 Oct. 6th, 2019: camera-ready copies
  • Dec. 16-18, 2019: conference

Accepted long and short papers will appear in the proceedings published by Springer in the  Lecture Notes in Artifical Intelligence (LNAI) series.
